Teacher use ICT enable tools for effective teaching learning process
Teaching aids are the integral part of teaching learning process that helps the learners to improve their skills, make the classroom attractive and engaging. Teaching aids like ICT tools complement the traditional teaching learning methods as well as making the content better understanding. Furkating College is highly interested in providing innovative methods for enriching learning experience. As an initiative to it various infrastructural facilities have been provided to all the departments. In addition to this faculties are trained for the use of tools through trainings, Faculty Development Programmes, workshops related to the ICT use so that they can enhance the effectiveness of their classes. ICT tools used by the faculties of Furkating College are:
- The use of multimedia teaching aids like LCD projectors, internet enable laptops are used in classrooms.
- All departments are provided with computers with connectivity to enable students to prepare their projects, presentations etc.
- Pen drive is most commonly used ICT tool by the teachers.
- The teachers effectively mix up theoretical classroom teaching with practical exposure through YouTube videos.
- The library is regularly updated with online resources. Teachers provide e-resources to students from N-list, Shodhganga and allied e-resources.
- All the teachers take online classes and tests on the platform of Google Meet and Google Classroom.
- Email,Whatsapp are used for providing study materials to students.
- Internet enabled computer lab is also used to access e-resources for their classes.
