Dibrugarh University Inter-College Kick Boxing Competition
on 7th and 8th of Feb 2020
The 2nd Dibrugarh University Inter-College Kick Boxing Competition was held in Furkating college on 7th and 8th February, 2020. Furkating college becomes the first among the affiliated colleges of Dibrugarh university to host this grand event.
The inaugural ceremony was attened by a host of dignitaries from different places of the state besides officials from Dibruagrh Univeristy and guest from various parts of Golaghat District.The event began with hosting of the flags of Dibrugarh University, Furkating College and of the other participating colleges by MR. SUNIT Kr THAPA, Observer from Dibrugarh University, Dr. APURBA SAIKIA, Principal Furkating College-cum-President, Organizing Committee and participants/officials from other colleges respectively. Dr. DINESH GOGOI, President , All Assam Kick-Boxing Association inaugurated the competition while Mr. BISWAJIT KAKOTI, Secreatary of the Association and Mr. Bipul Chutia, the official from Dibrugarh Univeristy also spoke on the occasion. The Inaugural session was anchored by Mr. SIMANTA PODDAR, Vice Pricipal, Furkating College-cum-Acting President, Organizing Committee.
The event was successfully concluded with the participation of 33 participants in different weight categories (both boys and girls) from a good number of colleges under Dibrugarh University.
